Our Story
Humble Beginnings
Founded by Trevor Van Zandt, the journey of Kingdom Cattle Company began in September 2021. Following in the footsteps of his father, Larry Van Zandt, Trevor spent years helping his father care for the herd on their newly built family compound before deciding to raise cattle himself.
A Passion Takes Root
After about two years of hands-on work, Trevor discovered a true passion for cattle ranching and decided to pursue it more seriously. But there was one key difference in vision that would temporarily set father and son on separate paths.
Two Different Visions
Larry relied on a traditional cow/calf operation raising commercial Angus cattle. Trevor, however, set his sights on raising full-blood Wagyu cattle — a choice that came with much higher costs and significantly greater risk.
A Change of Heart
For a time, Trevor and Larry worked independently. But in October 2022, after watching his son’s dedication, Larry approached Trevor. He shared that he saw the vision and felt led by God to join him in the Wagyu journey.

Wagyu beef stands apart from traditional Angus. This breed’s rare genetics create exceptional marbling and a unique fat composition, making it the healthiest beef in the world. Simply put, 100% Wagyu offers unmatched quality, tenderness, and flavor.
Building the Best
In January 2023, Kingdom Cattle Co. secured top 1% full-blood Wagyu genetics. Over the next two years, the company focused on raising premium cattle, preparing to launch high-end Wagyu beef to the market in the second half of 2025. Today, with the best genetics and a clear vision, Kingdom Cattle Co. is ready to deliver the highest quality food to its customers.
